Is it possible to use the latest 68 pin SCSI II drives on Capricorn?
Yes it is - it is possible to use 68 pin SCSI II drives with a 68 pin to 50 pin adaptor which fits between the SCSI drive 68 pin adaptor and the Capricorn 50 way SCSI cable.
The adaptors can be purchased from AMS Neve, and the AMS Neve stock code for the part is CN26003. If you would like to order one of these, then please email chris.bloor@ams-neve.com
The SCSI drive should be set to SCSI ID 3 as with any 50 pin SCSI I drive.
